Sensory training can cover topics such as:

  • What does over and under responsiveness to sensory input look like
  • What is the science behind sensory integration
  • How can I help? Top strategies for helping children with sensory difficulties be happier, calmer and able to learn and play better
  • Creating a sensory toolkit/ sensory diet
  • Helping with personal care tasks (e.g. tooth brushing, hair washing, nail cutting, hair cutting)
  • DIY/ Craft session – How to make your own sensory equipment such as weighted lap pads
  • Why is my child so picky with food and how can I help
  • How to adapt home environments to meet sensory needs
