Prices are available on request and subject to regular review. Any additional costs will be communicated to clients by us prior to the service being provided.
Additional costs are incurred when travelling outside of Bournemouth, Poole and East Dorset.
Pricing is reviewed annually and clients will be given one months’ notice of any change in pricing.
Appointments will finish at the same time regardless of client arrival time. This helps us avoid over running for the next client.
Cancellations & Non attendance
Please provide as much notice as possible if needing to cancel appointments. If less than 24 hours notice is given, sessions will be charged for in full, unless in exceptional circumstances.
If no notice is given and you do not attend for your appointment, it will be charged for in full.
If we need to cancel an appointment, we will do this at the earliest possible opportunity. You will not be charged for appointments cancelled by us.
Finishing service provision
We reserve the right to finish providing services to you if:
- The therapist becomes unwell or is otherwise able to provide the service.
- Payments are outstanding on current invoices.
- The therapist feels your or your child’s behaviour isn’t safe for us to continue working together.
- The therapy has reached its natural conclusion.
- The services we can offer do not meet the needs of the client or family.
Invoices detailing the amount owed and how to pay will be sent via email. Payment is accepted via bank transfer, cheque or cash.
By booking or attending an appointment, you are agreeing to pay for the services as detailed in the invoice.
Assessments: Payment is due in full within 30 days of the invoice. Reports, including drafts, will not be issued until payment is received in full.
Consultation: Payment is due in full before the appointment.
Intervention blocks of 6 or more: Payments can be made per session, with the payment being received prior to the next session. Alternatively, a block of intervention can be paid for in full by the 3rd session.
For us to work safely and effectively, we ask for consent to speak to all relevant agencies involved with a child. These agencies can include, but are not limited to, schools, NHS teams, education teams, social care teams and other professionals involved with the child. Parents and carers will be provided with a consent form to consider prior to us speaking to external agencies. Consent can be withdrawn at any time in writing (email or letter).
We have a duty of care to report any safeguarding concerns to the relevant professionals as outlined by the Dorset Safeguarding Children Board and Bournemouth and Poole’s Local Safeguarding Children Board. Whenever possible we will notify you before doing so unless we believe that this would increase the risk towards a child.
Therapists at Active Play Therapies are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). We will work within our professional competencies and only provide therapy we believe to be beneficial given the available evidence base, clinical training and experience. If you have any concerns about any aspects of our business or conduct, please contact us on email@example.com and we will endeavour to resolve any issues as soon as possible. If we are unable to resolve any dispute, this can be taken to a neutral facilitator to resolve.
